Will I get a Courtesy Car?
Every customer of Bridge Sheet metal Works has the option of a courtesy car whilst their own vehicle is being repaired. Vehicles supplied are subject to availability, which means at very busy times if you cannot do without a car you may have to wait a little longer.

Who can drive the Courtesy Car?
The insurance for the Courtesy Car is covered by your own policy. Therefore whoever is insured to drive the vehicle in for repair is also covered to drive the Courtesy Car. However age restrictions may apply.

Do I have to pay for the petrol in the Courtesy Car?
Yes, vehicles are supplied with varying amounts of fuel, depending upon the amount left by the previous hirer. You will be expected to replace any fuel you use, back to the level that was in the car when you collected it. Un-replaced fuel will be charged when the car is returned.

What happens if I have an accident in the Courtesy Car or damage it in any way?
In the unfortunate event that you have an accident driving one of our vehicles, or damage it in any way, your normal terms and conditions apply in your own insurance cover, so for example you will be liable for any excess.

Can you do work to my vehicle outside of an insurance claim?
Yes. We can either do work for you direct and you pay before collecting your vehicle, or alternatively some customers ask us to undertake extra work on top of that authorised by the insurance company. In this instance you will need to pay for the extra work and the excess when the vehicle is released back to you.
